Kim, Jen and Beth here. We’re all excited and getting ready for Renegade Craft Fair this weekend (May 19th and 20th 11am-7pm) at the Palmer Events Center 900 Barton Springs Rd, Austin, Texas. If you’re not already privy to the awesomeness that is the Renegade Craft Fair, let us give you the skinny (I’ve never really understood that expression). The Renegade Craft Fair is a HUGE traveling show of extremely well curated handmade goods featuring interactive happenings. There are Renegade Craft Fairs in cities all over the world including, Brooklyn, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, and of course our weird and awesome city, Austin. Thousands of people attend and some even come in from surrounding cities to check out the cool “shiz” that these folks bring together for the shows. Many of the vendors are local, however a few travel with the show and come in from far away cities to showcase their incredible work.

As usual, the WonderCraft will be hosting a super cool make-and-take activity. This year, we’ll be showing you how to spruce up clothing and accessories in full “renegade” fashion using templates and an overspray method inspired by a punk/glam-rock aesthetic. Attendees can make their own patches, tote bags, or bring a t-shirt or other garment to deck out:

What’s more Stella’s super bad-ass men will be joining us at the show, so you can come and craft with them.

Whether or not you’ve been in the past, there’s plenty of reasons to come back.
